Description
Anora (the excellent Mikey Madison), a sex worker from Brooklyn, enters into an impulsive relationship with the spoiled son of a Russian oligarch. Is it a little adventure? A fairytale? Or a nightmare instead? It is, in any case, a Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Tangerine) film through and through. And secretly, we are rather proud of Sean Baker, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming at Roze Filmdagen in 2013 with his film Starlet: he won the Palme d’Or for Anora at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year!
Experience the Roze Filmdagen optimally with our combi-tickets in collaboration with our partner Bar Olaf! You can start your evening at Bar Olaf from 19:30, before the screening. Enjoy an exclusive Roze Filmdagen deal with a cocktail and bites.
